Response to COVID-19

Information for Clients

 

As of Monday, 25 May 2020 Human Psychology will resume working from our office at 120 and 115 Rundle Street Kent Town. We will continue to offer telehealth consults for those clients who prefer this option.

 

You may notice a few changes to our operations to ensure your safety:

 

  • Our Reception team will ask you some questions about your current physical health when you call to book. If you are experiencing any illness symptoms, we would ask that you arrange a telehealth consult and do not attend our rooms until feeling well.
  • You can opt to wait in your car and receive a text message when your clinican is ready to see you. We will be minimising people sitting in our waiting rooms to adhere to social distancing requirements.
  • All paperwork, payment and rebooking of appointments will be completed electronically.
  • Our offices have been deep cleaned and strict cleaning and hygiene protocols are being adhered to.

 

During this unprecedented time where your health and wellbeing are paramount now perhaps more than ever, we are here to help you. The Human Psychology team are strongly committed to supporting you, especially now whilst you may be dealing with returning to work, isolation and COVID-related anxiety and life stressors.

 

Human Psychology’s 1300 277 924 number is and will continue to operate as normal and will be answered by our friendly team which is unchanged, and they continue assist you with available options to access support with one of our team.

Clients Accessing Under EAP

 

Clients will be be able to book face-to-face appointments with our clinicians as normal and we ask that you complete some personal information at the time of booking by email.  Our staff can go through this with you at the time of scheduling your session.

Clients Accessing under Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP)

 

A gap payment will be charged from May 25th for face-to-face and telehealth consults under current Medicare Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP).

Private health rebates are also available.

Training and Online Learning

 

While the world simultaneously pauses in so many ways, and faces unprecedented pressures and challenges in others, we need to provide our people with support and development opportunities perhaps more than ever. This is a critical time to provide people with tool kits to maintain resilience, wellbeing and an optimistic mindset.

 

Over the next few months, face-to-face scheduled training activities will be postponed and as the likelihood of employees working from home increases and self-isolate due to risk of exposure. Human Psychology are quickly pivoting our training content to be available on-line.
