Inspire is the foundation module for the Spirit program. It enables leaders to explore their role in defining culture, meaning and purpose, both as individuals and at a corporate level. In a world defined by accelerating, ceaseless change how we as leaders connect, communicate and inspire those we serve in our organisations will matter more than how work is done.
Engage – Tuesday 20th August 2019
Employee engagement is not simply being happy at work and not all satisfied employee are engaged. Engagement is the extent to which people are personally involved in the success of a business. Employees want to be treated as a whole person with respect and dignity and operate within learning communities with spirit.
Perform – Thursday 17th October 2019
Job performance is the assessment of whether an employee has done their job well. Workplace performance is the product of a complex interaction of a number of variables including leadership behaviours like coaching, feedback, performance development, conflict resolution skills and job design and resourcing. High organisational performance is when all the parts of an organisation work together to achieve great results with results being measured in terms of the value we deliver.
Empower – Thursday 14th November 2019
If someone is empowered to do something, they have the authority or power to do it. This workshop examines the characteristics of effective teams and strategies for enhancing cohesion and performance, with a focus on understanding and implementing change well.
Embolden – Tuesday 3rd December 2019
The final workshop in the Spirit series urges leaders to be courageous, to plan and conduct conversations with their staff about challenging topics like mental health, workplace performance and inappropriate behaviours. It provides a framework and tool-kit for meeting duty-of-care obligations, as well as the confidence and conviction to engage more with people at work.
